The HD Lee building was built in the 1920’s to house the Lee Work Wear production factory in the Crossroads district of Kansas City, MO. It is a nine-story concrete building with heavy concrete floor slabs and beams. The HD Lee Building was renovated in 2005 into luxury apartments and renamed Piper Lofts. The renovated building includes a small theatre, exercise center, pool, and penthouse accommodations for select tenants.
