Erin K. Rosenthal, P.E.

President

Kansas State University

Erin’s projects across the country range in size and type of construction. Her drive and determination in rising from PMA intern to owner is a testament that she brings to all projects large and small. She has the natural ability to make you feel you’ve known her for years, and she generates lasting relationships well beyond the project at hand. Erin enjoys running and waterskiing when she’s not attending sporting events or traveling with her family.

Jeffrey D. Patterson, P.E.

Jeff’s portfolio is unmatched for type and size of projects throughout the country. His work ethic is based on common sense and honest communication. He is known for his philosophy to “Keep it Simple” no matter how complex the project may be. He gets excited taking on challenging projects with new or historic construction materials. Jeff enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family and his dogs, riding motorcycles and participating in shooting sports.

Justin L. Kunkle, P.E.

Justin started out as a summer intern and his career at PMA has flourished from there. His drive, diligence, and professional principles help him solve any challenge that comes his way. Justin’s knowledgeable yet personable approach helps him successfully communicate with clients in order to achieve practical, cost-effective solutions on each project he encounters. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, exploring Kansas City’s microbreweries, attending sporting events, and spending time with his friends and family – including his pup, Sadie.

Kristen N. Kuhlen, P.E.

Senior Project Manager of Heavy Steel Structures

Kristen brings more than 20 years of experience and has managed projects ranging from small architectural additions to large-scale steel buildings. Kristen’s approach includes focusing on the comprehensive view of the project, but she always enjoys “digging in” and learning new concepts. Her ability to connect the design intent with practical execution ensures projects move forward with clarity and efficiency. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys time with family, traveling, hiking in the mountains, and reading.

Darren L. Hayward

Senior Engineering Technician Manager

Southern Adventist University

Darren’s technical expertise continues to advance with the progression in programs and their capabilities. In his role overseeing all technicians at PMA, he fosters consistency and quality across the team while encouraging growth and innovation. Darren takes pride in the development of PMA’s end product for our clients and is a team player who helps align engineering and drawing production. In his free time, he enjoys off-roading in his jeep and is very active in his community with his family.
